Committees and Workgroups
The Executive Committee
Composed of the elected officials that head the initiative, this committee will advocate for closing the addiction treatment gap at the highest levels. They advise MATI staff on strategies and further MATI aims within their communities. Members are:

The Steering Committee
Composed of department and division heads, presidents and CEOs of stakeholder organizations, the steering committee will guide and support MATI strategies, advocate for closing the addiction treatment gap and work to involve members of their organizations and partnerships in the initiative. The Program and Policy Committee
This committee will participate with all MATI stakeholders in the strategies of advocacy, communications and system redesign to close the addiction treatment gap. Goals of the committee include improving the way that treatment is funded and delivered, bringing change within their own organizations and sharing information about activities that support MATI’s aims.
