Improved Treatment Delivery
The Milwaukee Addiction Treatment Initiative will bring together the major stakeholders of Milwaukee County’s addiction treatment delivery system—including providers, government agencies and advocacy organizations—to improve the way addiction treatment is delivered.
MATI will work to create an efficient system that:
- Quickly engages, integrates and retain persons suffering from addiction
- Provides the most appropriate treatment in the most appropriate setting
- Uses existing resources more effectively
- Integrates addiction treatment with mental health services, other health care, and non-health programs related to housing and employment
